A significant output of the project ‘Ion mobility applications in CBRN crises’ was presented by project partners. The ambitious programme of combined ion mobility components was presented and encompassed: payloads for remote piloted airborne systems; emergency medicine applications for acute toxicity and R/N injury; and, environmental forensics and decontamination surveys. The proposition of multi-use capability as a potential for a significant increase in the every-day use and utility of ion mobility spectrometry was explored.
